The Cambier Park Band Shell received the 2001 AIA Architectural Award of Excellence. This was our twelfth amphitheater enclosure. The band shell is a renovation of an existing amphitheater giving the park an overall enhancement. The park is located in a very quaint and opulent retail district and a very popular location for Naples residents to enjoy local venues. This job involved several components creating one overall structure.
The membrane cladding system above our Omni*Hub spaceframe is attached using CST’s standard liner washer system. The second component is the array of acoustical panels that suspend from our spaceframe system and is attached to the roll formed tubular framework.
The panels consist of curved tubular aluminum framework, polystyrene foam and aluminum cladding. The finish on the spaceframe is a standard Kynar white giving the spaceframe a clean and fresh look.
