01/27/21, Kansas City, MO., USA – CST Industries, Inc. (CST™) the world’s largest and leading bolted tank and aluminum dome & cover manufacturer is proud to be the Sponsor of the National Rural Water Association’s (NRWA) 21st Great American Water Taste Test.
CST, manufacturer of the iconic AQUASTORE® glass-fused-to-steel storage tanks, is supplying commemorative glass etched bottles which will list the names of those participating in the event.
The National Rural Water Association held the first water taste test in 1999 and have continued to hold this prestigious contest annually ever since. This year, various municipalities within the United States are again competing to win this great honor. The preliminaries were held in Duncan, Oklahoma on January 19th with the final five winning samples shipping to Washington, D.C. From there, congressional staffers will judge the final samples to declare the winner on February 11, 2021. Judges rate each water sample based on its clarity, bouquet and taste.
“The Great American Water Taste Test is important for the American people to gain the confidence they need in their potable water. Ensuring safe, clean drinking water is the priority of these professionals and CST is grateful for the involvement we have in such an important event,” said Matt Gregg, VP of CST Industries, Inc.
