CST Storage Celebrates Six Years without a Lost Time Accident

PARSONS, Kan. (May 28, 2014) – Proud of the employees does not begin to describe the sentiment of the CST Storage Management Team. CST Storage, located at 2101 S. 21st Street, is one of the safest manufacturing companies in the state of Kansas and six years without a lost time accident is a testament to this fact. On Thursday, May 28 the company, which currently is celebrating its 42nd anniversary as a leading employer in Parsons, recognized its employees who accomplished this safety record with a special ceremony at their facility.

We have a world class safety initiative that has been embraced by our employees. Their dedication and focus on safety, quality and efficiency are incomparable. We greatly appreciate their tremendous efforts,” said Declan McLaughlin, President and CEO of CST Industries, Inc., parent company of CST Storage.
Joining McLaughlin in the celebration and recognition was Chris Bridgnell, Chief Financial Officer of CST Industries, Inc. and Steve Allen, Vice President, Global Manufacturing of CST Storage. The CST Storage Safety Committee comprised of Josh Figura, Jordan Cunningham, Craig Warstler, Kevin Linnebur, Carol Hilbrink, Daniel Yarnell, David McNabb, Tyler Beye, Jean Thompson, Doug Lattin, Dylan Fabrycky, Ray Brewington, Colton Koger, Phil Sellers, Matt Kuhel and Rosie Culver play a major role to ensure a safe working environment for the CST Storage employees.
This is not the first time the company has been recognized for its outstanding safety record. Since 2009 the company has been recognized twice by the State of Kansas for its exceptional safety record.
